Uploaded quotes can contain personal, project and commercially sensitive information. Fair Price Checks collects the information needed to provide and support your quote check.

Information we handle
Your uploaded quote, name, email address, project location, selected country, quote type and value, file details, notes and service reference. Stripe handles card details rather than Fair Price Checks storing your card number.
How it is used
We use this information to provide the requested quote sense-check, deliver the result, maintain service security, resolve support issues and meet applicable legal obligations. Quote information may also be converted into de-identified pricing and scope patterns that help maintain and improve the MeasureHub Engine. We do not publish customer quotes or use raw quote documents to train public AI models without separate, explicit permission.
Regional organisation
Australia, United Kingdom and United States uploads are assigned to separate logical market partitions so the correct currency, terminology and regional pricing context follow the quote through the review workflow.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website use. Google advertising measurement is loaded only after you choose “Allow measurement”. Your choice is stored in your browser so we can remember it, and you can change it at any time using the “Privacy choices” button.
Service providers and overseas handling
We use service providers for hosting, secure storage, payment processing, email delivery, security and quote analysis. They may process information outside your country. We limit access to what is needed for the service and use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards when information is stored or transferred.
Retention and requests
Documents are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to deliver and support the service, maintain security and records, and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting hello@checkmyquote.co.nz. Some records may need to be retained where required by law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing, receive a copy of your information, withdraw consent where consent is relied on, or complain to your local privacy regulator. Contact us first so we can identify and respond to the request.
